The **FS-404** is a MIDI foot pedal designed to control the **SP-404 MK2** sampler.

===== Companion Software =====

The FS-404 desktop software allows users to configure the MIDI messages sent by the pedal.

The software includes **six operating modes**:

==== SP MIDI A ====

Access to all **160 pads**.

MIDI channels are fixed according to the specifications of the SP-404 MK2.

==== SP MIDI B ====

Access to all **160 pads**.

The MIDI channel is user-configurable.

==== SP Commands ====

Custom commands for the **Roland SP-404 MK2**.

Controls DJ Mode and Looper Mode.

==== MIDI Notes ====

Sends any musical note.

Works on any of the **16 MIDI channels**.

==== CC ====

Sends MIDI Continuous Controller (CC) messages.

==== Toggle ====

Based on the base note value, toggles between:

  * Previous
  * Next
  * Repeat
  * Reset
  * Kill Switch

Works in MIDI Mode A or B.

Optional looping behavior.
